On this and the following pages, I've tried to avoid listing living people. If you see Descendants Living, that means the next generation has living people. I wanted to show which branches have continued to the present day, but at the same time preserve people's privacy.

Spencer County, Indiana was home to a large group of Ruarks. James and Melissa Ruark, William and Clusky Ruark, and Charles and Jane (Ruark) Fulks all had families here. All were siblings, children of Henry and Jane (Walker) Ruark.
Amanda Elizabeth Ruark, daughter of William and Clusky Ruark, married Isaac Thomas in Spencer County, and they raised their family here.
