Andrew Jackson (Jack) Roberts (@1835KY- ) married (1)Amanda M. Hanks (1837KY-1869IN). According to the huge amount of research on the Hanks family by Mr. Adin Baber, Amanda would be the first cousin once removed of President Abraham Lincoln.

infant (Willie?) Roberts (1863-1863) - Died at 9 days old.
Stephen A. Roberts (1866IN- ) - md Emma Frances Ruark (1864IN-1928IN)

Jack Roberts married (2) Rebecca Wilson (1848-1871IN) in 1871.

I haven't been able to find out about Jack Roberts' ancestry. According to the 1860 census, he is from Kentucky, but I've been unable to find him there. I would really appreciate any information about him! In the Brick Chapel Cemetary, in Putnam County, Indiana, both Amanda and Rebecca Roberts are buried. Between them is a grave, with the headstone broken off at the base. I believe this to be the resting place of Jack Roberts. Their infant son is buried next to Amanda.

The graves are at the back of the cemetery, directly behind the church. From left to right are markers for Rebecca (Wilson) Roberts, the broken-off stone, Amanda (Hanks) Roberts, and the infant son of Amanda & Jack.
