On this and the following pages, I've tried to avoid listing living people. If you see Descendants Living, that means the next generation has living people. I wanted to show which branches have continued to the present day, but at the same time preserve people's privacy.

Ratliff Ruark was born in Dearborn County, Indiana in 1841, but had moved to Carroll County by 1866 when he married his first wife Nancy Newsome. He also married his second wife, Joanna Heaton here. They moved to Montana, Labette County Kansas around 1882, but only stayed until 1888, when they moved to Idaho.
