On this and the following pages, I've tried to avoid listing living people. If you see Descendants Living, that means the next generation has living people. I wanted to show which branches have continued to the present day, but at the same time preserve people's privacy.

Shadrack Ruark was born in Worcester Co., MD, but lived in that part of Trumbull County, Ohio which became Geauga County. He is found there as early as 1804. One of his daughters, Elizabeth Ruark, married James Rawlings. Elizabeth and James also raised their family in Geauga County.
