A son of Joseph Ruark, named Daniel Ruark (1807KY- ), began his family in Lewis County Kentucky, where he was born and raised. He married Charity Hoffman (1811NJ- ), and they soon moved to Mason County, where all but his first child was born. Daniel seems to have returned to Lewis County, though, as he passed away there.
