I get a lot of requests from people wanting information on their Ruark families and knowing some names, but not the locations. Until more information can be found on them, I'm going to go ahead and put them under these "Unknown location" pages. Once we can pin down where they lived, we'll move them to the appropriate place.
Florence Alice Ruark (1869IL-1994CA) - md Robert William Ford (1860OH- ) on 4 Aug 1886. Florence passed away in Alameda County, California. She had a sister named Belle who married a Mr. Sites, and their father may have been named William. It's thought that this Ruark family might have been farmers around Springfield Illinois.
It's also been guessed that this Florence might be the same one as the daughter of Jacob Leafeat Ruark, but it's only a theory.
