In March of 2001 I purchased a store card, which the seller guessed to be from between 1870 - 1890. It advertises "Acorn Stoves & Ranges", and is stamped at the bottom "Compliments of A. S. RUARK, Carlinville, Ills". If anyone knows where Mr. A.S. Ruark fits into a Ruark clan, please drop me an email so I can update this page.
