Wade Ruark came to America with Lord Charles Calvert the Second in 1682. He was of
small stature, and a very dapper dresser. He was nicknamed "Hell Bent Wade", possibly
because of his interest in riding wild horses. He was also known for his skill as a
horse and animal trainer. He married Mary Kimbell and they resided near Boston, Mass.
