Pack Columbus Ruark (1879-1931GA) married Amanda Jane "Nanie" Carter (1888-1935GA) in 1904 in Oconee County, Georgia. While many of his ancestors had stayed in Morgan County, Georgia, Pack and Nanie seemed to have moved around quite a bit. They were married in Oconee County, had at least one child born in Morgan County, at least one other child born in Putnam County, and they both passed away in Monroe County, GA.

Most people pronounce Ruark as "Rewark", but some say "Rook". Pack Columbus Ruark said that was the lazy persons way of pronouncing it.
